In 2008 I've been involved as student assistant in the development of the AAA-title "Sacred 2: Fallen Angle" at the Studio2 Software GmbH located in Aachen.
As a member of the Quest Design Team my task was to design and implement quests for the various locations and characters within the game. This was sometimes tricky, as the players habit and decisions during the quest could lead to different results when playing the quest. Most of the quests were also slightly different depending on whether the player follows the good or the bad path during the game. For the implementation we used the S2 Quest Editor, which also allows staging of NPCs using LUA scripts.
